英國威爾斯王妃黛安娜逝世已十八載，當年她最愛戴冠冕「Cambridge Lover's Knot tiara」，高貴形象仍深深刻印在民眾心中。本周二晚上，劍橋公爵夫人凱瑟琳出席由英女王伊利沙伯二世設宴的年度外交招待會時，首次戴起此冠冕，不禁令人回想起生前戴妃的身影。

　　英女王於白金漢宮設宴，場內冠蓋雲集，當中包括來自各國的一千五百位官員。為隆重其事，劍橋公爵伉儷亦盛裝出席，威廉王子依照宴會傳統，配上白色煲呔，英氣十足。凱瑟琳更是會場焦點，她戴上鑲滿珍珠及鑽石的冠冕，身穿由英國時裝品牌Alexander McQueen所設計的淡藍色晚禮服，優雅脫俗。

　　該王冠已有逾百年歷史，原為瑪麗王后所擁有，後來送給英女王。至一九八一年，英女王將它轉贈給戴妃，作為她與王儲的查理斯結婚禮物，自此成為戴妃的最愛。她經常戴上此頭冠出席各種隆重場合，惟兩人離婚後，黛安娜將它還予英女王。至於現時冠冕是否已送贈予凱瑟琳，或只是外借，皇室仍未公開說明。

　　凱瑟琳過去只曾戴過三次頭冠，其中一次正是其大婚之日。她與威廉王子亦不時流露緬懷亡母戴妃之情，當年兩人的訂婚戒指，正正是採用黛安娜的藍寶石戒指。
